SDU-Vikings Racing Team started in the fall of 2006 designing and building our first formula student race car, Viking I. During our 14 years of lifetime we have build 10 racecars, all improving in all aspects every year. Viking I to IV was combustion cars, but as the competition advanced, SDU-Vikings Racing Team decided to go electric. Electric vehicles introduced many new challenges which had to be overcome, but teams through out the years have overcome these challenges with excellence. Even though not all cars have taken home big prizes, all have been build with pride, hard work and dedication.
For this generation we are focusing on building a stable and reliable foundation for future generations of our formula student cars. Furthermore, we want to build a broad and strong team which exceeds in all parts of the formula student event, both static and dynamic events.
